Privacy Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
This policy explains what the Lucenti app collects, why, where it is kept, who helps us run the app, and what you can do about it. It covers the Lucenti app for iPhone and Android and this website.
In short
- Your habits, events, to-dos, notes, photos and sounds live on your phone.
- If you create an account, a copy is kept in your account, on servers in the European Union, so you can restore it on a new phone.
- Payments go through Apple or Google. We never see your card.
- No ads. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t track you across other apps and websites.
- You can see, export or delete your data at any time.
Who we are
Lucenti is made by Nikita Konjusenko, an independent developer based in Denmark, who is responsible for your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the Lucenti developer. You can reach us at support@lucenti.app.
What stays on your phone
Everything you put into Lucenti is stored on your device first:
- your habits, events, tasks and their history (what you completed and when);
- notes, the photos you choose from your library, voice notes you record and sounds you add from your files;
- your profile: the name you give, and, only if you choose to share them, your birthday, gender and what you want from the app;
- your settings, such as units, clock, colours and reminders.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone; no server sends them. The Home Screen widget reads the same data on your phone. Lucenti only uses your photo library and microphone when you choose a photo or record a voice note.
Your phone’s own backup (iCloud or Google) may include this data, according to your phone’s settings. Deleting the app deletes the data on that phone.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, we keep it so your data is backed up and the same on every phone you sign in on:
- Sign-in details: your email address, or, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the email address and name they share with us. Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your own.
- A copy of your data: the things listed under “What stays on your phone”, kept up to date in the background.
Your account and its copy are stored by our hosting provider, Supabase, in the European Union. The codes we email you to sign in are sent through Resend.
Subscriptions and payments
Lucenti is a subscription. You subscribe and pay through Apple or Google, who handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. We never receive your card or bank details.
We use RevenueCat to know whether you have an active subscription. It receives a random identifier for your copy of the app (and your account identifier once you sign in), your purchase and subscription history, your country or store region, your device type and operating system, the app version and your IP address. We use this to unlock the app, show you the right prices, restore purchases and handle billing questions.
When you write to us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. If you write from inside the app, the email includes your app version, phone model, operating system and language, to help us find the problem. You can remove them before you send it. Mail to support@lucenti.app is delivered by Cloudflare to a Google (Gmail) mailbox.
This website
lucenti.app is hosted by Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and it loads nothing from other websites. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
What we don’t do
- We don’t show ads, and we don’t sell or rent your data.
- We don’t track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
- We don’t use your habits, notes, photos or sounds to train AI models.
- Lucenti currently uses no third-party analytics or crash reporting. If we add any, we will update this policy before we do.
Why we use your data
Under the GDPR, we rely on these legal grounds:
- To provide the app you asked for (contract): storing and syncing your data, your account, your subscription.
- Your consent: optional profile answers, photo and microphone access, and notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app or in your phone’s settings.
- Legitimate interests: keeping Lucenti secure, preventing fraud and answering your messages.
- Legal obligations: keeping purchase records as accounting and tax law requires.
Who helps us run Lucenti
These companies process data for us, only to provide their service:
- Supabase — accounts and the copy of your data, in the EU;
- RevenueCat — subscription status and purchase history;
- Resend — the emails with your sign-in codes;
- Cloudflare — this website and delivery of our email;
- Google — the mailbox our support email is read in.
Apple and Google also process data as the app stores you download Lucenti from and pay through, under their own privacy policies.
Some of these companies are based in the United States or may process data there. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- On your phone: until you delete it or delete the app.
- Your account: until you delete it. The copy is then removed from our servers, and from backups within 30 days.
- Purchase records: for as long as accounting and tax law requires, usually five years.
- Emails to support: for as long as we need them to help you, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data, or send it to you in a file you can take elsewhere;
- correct data that is wrong;
- delete your data and your account;
- restrict or stop a use of your data you object to.
Write to support@lucenti.app from the email address of your account, and we will answer within one month. You can also delete your account yourself — see Delete your account.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Lucenti is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
Data travels between the app and our servers encrypted. Access to your account’s data is limited to you, and to us only when you ask for help or the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to how your data is used, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
